Schroeder

I was recently advised to replace recoil spring to a stiffer one as gun would cycle fine until we installed a salvo 12 then it seemed to want to keep the shell. Would eject partially. The springs are back ordered at Wolf but wondering if this sounds right? The gun is a later model HK super 90! any advice is greatly appreciated
