King Chevy, Did you actually mount the stock and find that it would fit with minimal modification, or just slide it on and eyeball it? I used an R1 in 338 win mag for a canoe expedition bear gun and found, during training, that if you want to make quick follow-up shots with a 338, it is going to need a pistol grip stock, trying to decide if I should order the pistol grip stock from the M2 or the M4…as my starting point. I don’t need a folding stock, but I do want the fixed pistol grip stock. Thanks for posting this starter post. let me know, Matt
