  1. Keep it up man. I bought 2 MR1 off Gunbroker, took the best parts of both for cleanest MR1 possible. I have a pretty low serial # too, so that's pretty cool. 1 came with the tri rail, so I got that down. You could buy tri rail from Canada but you're looking at over $500 + shipping. I have a CX4 as well with tri rail, it didn't sit as tight as the MR1 tri rail did. It also has the steel plate bracket in the forestock. Let me know if you need pictures/dimensions, I can take them out for you. For the rear sight, I put a M4 rear sight on it as I didn't like the MR1 sight it came with.
  2. It's basically the same as Benelli M4. Not sure what the hard part is of the break down and cleaning of R1. Feel free to ask away.

What will be the purpose of the rifle?
  4. I need to get around to my project solution similar to this. I am trying to get a Tri-Rail attachment 3D printed to fit snug to the OEM handguard, it will be screwed down similar to yours. Think of the Tri-Rail attachment on Benelli MR1 or Beretta CX4, basically that. Has anyone ever tried to "weld" the 2 L/R handguard pieces together? Kind of thinking of doing that as well.
  5. Just saying I'm willing to chip in as the Entry test guinea pig.
  6. Funny you ask this, I've been toying with the idea of creating an attachment similar to the Benelli MR1 / Beretta CX4 Tri-Rail attachment. I have both, but I only tried CX4 attachment so far. It slides on easily and the concept is there, it's very obtainable to do with a 3d printer. My vision is to add rails for grip and/or light, Tri-Rail attachment makes sense, while also keeping the aesthetics of OEM forend. So after sliding the Tri-Rail on to get an idea, a few things I would need to do. 3D print Tri-Rail attachment that fits perfectly to OEM forend, making rails straight. Drill 4 holes on the OEM forend and somehow incorporate threads in said holes to screw the attachment in like the MR1/CX4. Project for next year I suppose.
  7. Yes. I have purchased from that site and everything went smoothly. Here is the other thread of what you are asking.
  8. Hello all, I present to you the Benelli Argo Trinity (R1, MR1, M4 Entry). I have been working on acquiring and modding for over a year now. I like to think I am the only one in the world that has all 3, let alone adding the stocks to R1 and MR1. I have a write up on those in the forums if you would like to see. I had a dream that started with owning an M4, and went down a rabbit hole that I wished I didn't go down. But I followed through with it and here is the finished product. Well, few changes I want to get do later on but I'm going to sit on this for a bit. I have 2 MR1s and have been tossing the idea of cutting down one of the barrels. Maybe threading all of them. Who knows. Shout out to RXARMS for the 6 position tubes and stock storage. I would have bought your charging handle but already had FFT products. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
  9. Yes. Guess I could have added this into the build thread lol, wish I could edit the post. (Install Picatinny Rail to Benelli R1 Forend) - for google purposes for others. I am using the Magpul Aluminum Rail. First, trim down the plastic in the middle of the forend. Second, trim down the rails underside, giving it a curve to sit flush(ish) with the forend grip. Third, using the nut provided, tighten down the bolt. Fourth, trim down the bolt and nut. Can't upload the picture, so I'll just drop a link. https://imgur.com/a/W3pSLzg
  10. Hello again, sorry if I am doing this wrong in submitting a new topic instead of responding to the old one. I have followed through with the R1 to M4 stock conversion. The Pistol Grip Stock #81040 and Collapsible Stock #70085 are interchangeable with minor cuts. The Benelli MR1 Pistol Grip Stock #81349 may not need to be trimmed, as the piece that needs to be trimmed from the M4 is not there. You will need to buy 3 position tube but I went with and prefer RXARMS 6 position tube. Shot out to RXARMS for making awesome products. Also, the internals need to be purchased except for the M4 Recoil Spring Plunger #70046, you can use the one that comes from the R1. Maybe the Recoil Spring but the size of the R1 and M4 tubes are different lengths so I just purchased one to be safe. Besides the tube and spring, you will need parts #70044, #70071 and #70075. The R1 Recoil Tube had a hole on one side at the end of the tube. This is where the bolt and not was threaded on so the ComforTech Stock was tightened down with a nut (unfortunately I don't know where this piece went to take a picture of). A hole was drilled on the other side to get the tube off the lower receiver, this was a pain in the ass and will need heat without melting anything. It shoots perfectly fine as I put 100 rounds through it already with no issues.
  11. Very cool. This make R1 with Collapsible stock mod that more enticing.
  12. I was in same boat as you. Couldn't find the barrel. I read a lot of recommendation to just purchase the gun instead, as the price of someone doing the work is a good amount. So I returned the M4 and just purchased M4 Entry off GunBroker. Waiting on Form 4. But seems like 18" Barrel will be easier to obtain than the 14" Entry Barrel, so I went this route. Good luck.
  13. I was changing the comb on the comfortech stock and had this laying around and put it on to see what could be. Well here is an idea of what it could look like. Trigger area of the pistol grip would need to be trimmed down a bit but very doable. Sorry for clutter behind it.
  14. Did you ever follow through with this idea. Quite curious.
