Sbe1 won't fully eject fired hull

My SBE1 has started not fully ejecting the spent hull, heavy load 3 inch ones at that. It gets it almost all the way back but not far enough to throw it out. I took the stock off and cleaned and lubricated the recoil spring, but this did not solve the problem. Any suggestions??
