  1. Does anyone know if any of the Limbsaver Recoil Pads will fit the Steady Grip stock on a M1?? Their Benelli pads are to large.
  2. Has anyone ever installed a swivel stud on a steady grip stock??? If so, I'd like to know how you did it?? Thanks.
  3. I have a M1 Super 90 in Advantage Timber camo and I have looked almost everywhere for a Steadygrip stock (Benelli Part #80039P). Benelli no longer carries them. Does anyone know where I can find one??? Thanks.
  4. Any idea what choke I need for these in my Super Black Eagle???
  5. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  6. Will the SBE Steady Grip also fit the M! Super 90??
  7. What about a 40 yard pattern???
  8. I had the same problem with mine. Sounds like your ejector is broken. It is located inside the flange of the barrel that slides into the receiver. Depending on the year model you have, there are 2 different ejectors. The old style is called the "hockey stick" ejector. Check with any gunsmith that works on Benellis and he can confirm your problem. But Benelli should replace the part for free. They did mine.
  9. I just bought it tonite for $700.00. It's in excellent condition.
  10. What's it worth? It's only been shot about 100 times dove hunting.
  11. I am looking at a black Benelli SuperBlack Eagle with a 26" barrel in excellent condition. I called Benelli with the serial number and they told me it was made in 2000. I can buy it for $700-$750. Is it worth this??
  12. What gun does it fit?? I may want it?
  13. I've got both a Benelli M1 and a SBE1. I've shot the Hevi-13 2 oz in both guns thru an Indian Creek .665 with poor results. What brand and size choke are you using to get good patterns with this load in your M1's and SBE1's??
  14. Mudhen, I got my ejector assembly in the mail today. Could you please give me instructions on installing the assembly correctly?
  15. Thanks, Mudhen. Benelli is sending me the entire ejector assembly. So, hopefully I can change it out if I can get the set screws out.
  16. How bout ya, Mudhen? Can I install it myself?
  17. Correction. After talking to the tech at Benelli and looking at my barrell, the ejector is broken. They are shipping me an entire ejector assembly. Is this something that I can install myself?
  18. The old hockey stick version is the one I need. Benelli is shipping me one. Can I install it myself?
  19. Anyone know where I can get an ejector assembly for a mid 90's SBE?
  20. The gun parts are squeaky clean! The recoil spring and recoil tube are squeaky clean! It has to be a weak recoil spring.
  21. Yes, it cycles properly while unloading. And the recoil tube appeared to be in good shape when I cleaned the recoil spring. I've been told that I should rotate the bolt head pin 180 degrees and see if this solves the problem. What do you think?
  22. I have a 1995 or 1996 model Super Black Eagle 1 I bought new that has recently started to not fully eject the fired hull completely. It almost comes all the way out but hangs up just enough to keep it from coming out completely, thus not allowing the carrier to bring the 2nd shell up to the barrel. This is with both 2 3/4 and 3 inch heavy load shells. I always keep this shotgun in immaculate condition, breaking it completely down several times each year for cleaning. I removed the stock and thoroughly cleaned and lubricated the recoil spring, but this did not solve the problem. The extractor and extractor spring both seem to be in working order as does the bolt assembly. Any suggestions??
  23. My SBE1 has started not fully ejecting the spent hull, heavy load 3 inch ones at that. It gets it almost all the way back but not far enough to throw it out. I took the stock off and cleaned and lubricated the recoil spring, but this did not solve the problem. Any suggestions??

    M 1 vs M 2

I bought a new black synthetic Benelli M1 20 gauge last year and it is a fine shotgun. I love the gun! I wouldn't have an M2 either. I just don't like the way it looks or feels.
