I have had my M1 for around 10 years and still get the common occasional click if I forget to check the bolt postion before pulling the trigger. I have MANY rounds fired thru this M1 and clean and lube the gun religously . Has anyone heard of a new mechanical fix for this old frustrating problem?

I've never had that problem. But then again i only have about 40 slugs and 20 00's through it.
