Gordon
I have a 12 and a 20 guage M-1 field. When the weather gets in the teens and below both guns tend to misfire. I clean and lube them before hunting and the problem is still there. I lube with teflon. The guns operate fine in warmer weather. Anyone else with this problem? Any solutions? duckht183
Try using a thiner lube because some products out there tend to become thicker when the temperature drops causing your gun to misfire. Try the Benelli oil because that works great in cold weather and it wont stop up your gun. You should be able to pick up a bottle at your local gun shop.
