atovol Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 When I put shells into the magazine tube, the shell carrier remains locked in the up position. When I go to cycle the action it will eject a live shell from the tube out of the gun. I am having to load two shells, pull the action back half way to get the carrier to go back down and then cycle the action to load the round. Is this normal or am I missing something? Any help is appreciated, ejected two shells into the water this morning. Quote

There will be a slight ''click'' and if you turn the gun over, you can see the shell stop on the inter wall. Quote
atovol Posted January 4, 2009 Author Posted January 4, 2009 I did that. I can push the carrier up and it stays in the up position even when not loading a shell. The only way it will come down is to cycle the action. Quote
Novaking Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 mine does that to. Never had shells fall out of the gun though. As soon as I move the slide back about a 1/2 inch, the carrier moves to the down position. I can't picture what yours is doing. How far do you have to slide the action back? Quote
atovol Posted January 5, 2009 Author Posted January 5, 2009 Okay. Thanks, it just may be something I have to get used to. What are the steps you take to load the gun. Quote

What are the steps you take to load the gun. close bolt load shell in chamber close bolt load x of shells amount into mag. tube gun loaded. Your gun shouldn't no that. Your not loading the mag tube right( is don't think thats it) your your carrier is broke. try taking the gun apart and inspect the carrier. Quote
