impetuous Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 I have found that when I am bundled up for cold weather I have a little trouble getting my Nova up to my shoulder quickly when the ducks come in. The bulkiness of my jacket,etc, causes the recoil pad to drag and sometimes I wind up shooting without the gun really settled into the pocket of my shoulder. I am of average build and height; my arms are actually a little long for my size. (My Nova is a basic 5 year old model). Does any company make a thinner recoil pad?
