1911top Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Just picked up a new M4 - when I opened the box to go through it I noticed the bolt group was in an opened bubble wrap manila envelope - not what i would expect straight from the Benelli factory - anyhow when i examined it closer i noticed the link looked a little worn - also no chokes in the box - in the process of contacting the original dealer now, but does this seem normal (the link seemingly being worn)? - did i get a used bolt group? - or is some wear and tear normal bec. the gun was test fired at the factory? I got mine just like mentionned above except i had a choke which was already installed in the barrel, probably more convenient that way for them or for some other reason. It had a little wear on the slide but only from firing at the factory for test firing. Quote
