4buck
Does anyone know how difficult it would be to switch the saftey from right-handed to left-handed on a SBE? I see allen screws on each side, but I'm sure it can't be that easy??? I know, I should have bought a left-handed gun in the first place! BTW, what's the going price on an 03' black synthetic SBE, excellent condition? Thanks.
tucker301
Remove the trigger assembly from the receiver. Drive out the pin (012A). Be careful, the parts under the pin are springloaded and will fly out when the pin is removed. Cup your hand over the hole to catch them. The spring (007A) and detent (008A) should fall right out now. This will free the crossbolt safety (013J) for easy removal. Reverse the safety, reinsert the detent and spring. Depress ths spring below the hole for the pin and reinsert the pin. Test thoroughly before loading!

4buck
Thanks again Tucker301, I now have a right-handed SBE with a left-handed safety. I wish they were all that easy. Take Care. 4buck
tucker301
Amen to that! If that had been a Nova or R1, you would have been up half the night trying to get it back together. I shot LH safety converted righties for years. When I got my SBE2 LH, it actually felt awkward for a while.
