Seems like it's machined down pretty far at the the back/top part of the reciever also. It's new, and unfired at this point. Any input? Can anyone post a pic of this part of their M2 reciever for comparison? Is this normal, or should I be concerend? About the machining, it may be the light but mine looks like yours except its black the whole way to the back.
