MOOREGROUSE Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I recently purchased a used Montefeltro in 20 gauge. I love the gun, but the stock is a little short (13 7/8 or 14" LOP). I need a 14 1/2 LOP. Is there prefit recoil pad made for the Montefeltro in 20 gauge? Or will I need to buy one that is close and have it ground? Presently I am using a slip on pad, and that works fine, but I would like something permanent. Thanks for your help. Mooregrouse Quote
Trapshooter1 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 A slip on pad can be permanent, but not worthy of a beautiful wood stock. On cabelas, all they have for the montrefeltro is the limbsaver for montrefeltro and it specifies 12 gauge. Quote
BigAL33 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Take a look at the Galco recoil pad. It's a slip on but it's made out of very nice leather. I have two of them which I use on my 12ga Beretta 391 and on a 28ga 870 pump. It matches the walnut wood nicely. Quote
