shugz
Regarding a new 11707, how thoroughly should one disassemble and lube a brand new M4 before going out and shooting?
heckler&kochp2000
Just a basic disassembly and lube it up good nice and wet hopefully it will cycle every load. And you can clean the lube oFf later , let me know if it cycles all the rounds, Thanks
HOGWILD
Read the entire manual!! http://www.militec.com/firearms/manual21.html Do not expect anyone to lube a firearm from the factory, i just made that mistake of not cleaning a new firearm (Beretta) and it had several FTF and with 3 different types of ammo and i called Beretta and they said they do not clean their new pistols before shipping. It shipped with cutting fluids and oils in it which are not enough to keep gun from having malfunctions! MY FAULT!! i should have done a complete break down and lube and did not so i think you know where this is headed! I would do a complete breakdown and lube and get rid of any old fluids and sub standard oils! Manual is for the Military Versions but it should be really close and has an excellent cleaning chapter!
