M2 American Recoil difference

Has anyone compared the recoil difference between the M2 American (non-comfort tech) and the M2 with comfort tech stock? Academy Sports has a sale on the M2 American and I have a gift card! Curious about the difference in feel and recoil.

I have an M2 Comfort, the recoil in not bad shooting 3" pheasant loads, if the price is right on the M2 American, you might be able to put a Sims or Hiviz pad on it to reduce the recoil more. I put a HiViz on a Citori and it made a world of difference.

Yeah, I have an M2 with comfort tech as well. I also have a limbsaver laying around that would probably fit the M2 American. I was just curious about the difference in case I decided to get another one.

My only problem now (or mission) is how I'm going to slip off tomorrow and get it without my wife knowing about it.
