1) Is the serial on both the barrel and the receiver? I think my gun is a Frankenstein, not that it matters.

 

2) Is the front sling attachment point supposed to be a little loose?

 

3) When assembled should the gas pistons move around a little? When I shake it around I can hear something loose moving around. The carrier moves well and all seems to function well.

The pistons should move freely that's perfectly normal

 

the front sling attatchment point has play in it

 

I don't think there is a matching serial# on the barrel but I can't see mine right now with all my mounted goodies so someone correct me on this one if I'm wrong
