Just-in Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) I have a brand new Nova Tactical length. Out of 50 rounds of remmington 2 3/4 game load I put through it 5 or 6 misfired. In one magazine full the first two misfired back to back. One the primer was dented off center do I have a serious issue worthy of sending my gun in and waiting who knows how long for warranty repair? Edited March 12, 2010 by Just-in Quote
arizona98tj Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Did you field strip the firearm and give it a thorough cleaning? Some of the rust preventatives that are used get pretty gummy sometimes. Make sure you clean the bolt well....a sticky firing pin will make for poor primer strikes. Quote

This is very depressing to have spent 300.00 on something for home security that doesn't shoot and is already showing signs of wear like this after only 50 rounds... Quote

Just-in Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 Yeah big 5 sporting goods manager of course isn't in but they are only responsible for selling firearms they don't accept returns because they aren't experts Benelli is the expert in this case and I'd have to go through them but the GM has the final say tomorow. This is ridiculous this gun is brand new BRAND NEW the first THE FIRST TWO ROUNDS MISFIRED!! now this?! Quote
