Nova question?

I just bought a Nova for Turkey and waterfowl hunting but may also like to use it for Hunting deer in areas I can't take my rifle. I checked out getting a rifled barrel for my nova but cost is to much. So my question is what slug can I shoot out of it now and what choke to use?? I'm very new to the shot gunning and don't want ruin my gun. Also what chokes for waterfowl and Turkey?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Josh

cylinder choke/ rifled slug....should be good out to around 100yds or so

Is your new Nova threaded for choke tubes?

Yes it's threaded for chokes.

Pick yourself up some Federal TruBall slugs, I use them out a M2T and M4 with a modified choke with very good results.

An option for slugs is to try a rifled tube. It is required for good performance with sabot slugs and may (or may not) improve performance with so-called "rifled" (Foster-type) slugs.

Whichever barrel/choke ya decide on, consider installing a limbsaver recoil pad. Your shoulder will like it.
