pentech Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Does Anyone know IF and/or how difficult it is to reduce the pull of the trigger on a NOVA? Mine is extremely hard to pull. Quote
tucker301 Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 It would involve reducing the friction between the sear and the hammer. This means you'd remove the metal between the two surfaces. Although I have done this on some rifles, I wouldn't recommend doing so on a shotgun, since MOA accuracy is not as critical. Remove too much metal and the weapon becomes unsafe and more succeptible to accidental discharge due to external shock (dropping, or just rough handling and transport). If you feel the pull is excessive, take it to a gunsmith and have the pull measured. Ask the gunsmith his/her opinion before going any further. One stroke of the file would void your warranty and relieve Benelli of any and all liability regarding safety. Quote

Mine is extremely hard to pull. Mine was that way and I removed the trigger assembly and sprayed it down with some nitro cleaner. seems to get better the more I shoot it. Quote
