Im looking into buying an M2, but i dont what the difference is between the normal black synthetic and the "American Series," can someone clear that up for me and direct me toward the better of the two??

The original (Eye-talian) version ships with 5 chokes, Comfortech stock, and gel pad.

 

The American version has standard stock and recoil pad and ships with 3 chokes.

 

I don't know if the American series ships with shim kits or not.

 

Curiously, the primary image on the website seems to be more like the older style original SBE.

 

 

That's a slip-up, but I don't know which one is the more accurate depiction.

 

I'll bring it to someone's attention and let them make the call.

 

Meanwhile, it's probably a good ide to lay hands on one before you buy it.
