TLand1 Posted December 8, 2004 Share Posted December 8, 2004 Hello all, I am new to the forum and auto loaders, having only been an O/U user for the last several years, and thought you all may be able to answer a question. Is there any difference in the internal mechanism, the auto loader itself for lack of a better term, between the 3 inch version of the M2, Montefeltro, and legacy? After looking at each in the store I noticed that there is a notable difference in stock and barrel design between the different models but no one at the two stores I went to knew anything about the inside. So far I am partial to Montefeltro due to fit and finish and swing, it feels like an excellent upland game gun. I would appreciate any insights or recommendations on choosing between the three models as well.
