StrangerDanger Posted February 20, 2011 Share Posted February 20, 2011 You'd need to cut the flat spot down the entire length too. Do it yourself notches wouldn't be heat treated either. It is easier to just replace the recoil tube with the 3 position one. That was last months project where I sourced them from Numrich Arms. I saw there was one that sold for $1200 on there! Does the serial number have a great influence on the value? Obviously #1 is most valuable, but say, 500-1000 or 1500-2000, does it make that big of a difference? My dad's is 2460. Damned near the end!
