mizterjimbo Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 hi everyone, i just purchased my first benneli nova 12g with a 28" barrel when purchased it came with 3 chokes *full ***modified ****improved cylnder i am clear and have a pretty good understanding in the differences of the chokes. however my question is , what choke should be used to fire slugs? and /or should you even fire slugs using this barrel? research I've done says to use a cylinder choke, is this correct? i want to enjoy my shotgun in a propper and safe manner with out causing any damage to it, thanks for reading. Fastlane Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I think you would be fine shooting slugs with the IC choke installed. Quote
