Installing the field stock on the m4

Are there any special tricks, parts or tools needed to swp the collapsible stock for the field stock?

just a phillips head screwdriver to tighten the screw behind the two holes in the comfortech pad on the field stock.

I assume the rod comes off with the pistol grip.

on all m4s ,,pull the trigger group out,,that allows the stock to spin on and off ,,stock meaning, standard and pistol grip ,read the manual,,I do
