hammbone
I have just received a Benelli 12 GA from my uncle (estate). I would appreciate any information you can pass on to me. First, it appears to be "new in the box"...it is in the original box, main portion of the gun is still in plastic wrap with a light oil coating. Barrel and spare rib wrapped in paper. There are several choke tubes and a wrench and several other small parts in the box. Right side of the receiver is engraved with "Benelli" in red letters, and "Benelli Armi - Urbine, Italy". Left side of receiver is in red "SPORT" then "12 Ga" and "Benelli USA Corp. - Accokeek, MD - Made in Italy". There are several marks on left side just in front of and above trigger. Serial # M330XXX. It appears to have 28" Barrel. Any other info needed I'll be happy to pass on. I'd be interested in any info you can provide, especially about when it was made, what grade or quality is this gun, I guess an idea on value though I don't intend to sell it. Any reason to keep it in pristine condition, or should I go ahead and shoot it? Thanks, Ted
