jmac Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 I am switching over to an autoloader from my 870 Wingmaster. I looked at several brands and settled on the Benelli M1 or M2 Field. A buddy has the M1 and I liked it but I have now seen the new M2 field. Is there much difference and will the M1 field be phased out over time, making parts harder to locate?? Quote

shotgun samuri Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Hey jmac, My advice is get the new m2! The advances in the m2 over the m1 are not cosmetic. The gel pads on the new stock and the crio-treated barrel are worth the extra cost. Compare the m1 with the m2 head to head and shot for shot- I think you will choose the m2! Good luck. Quote
