M1 bolt question?

I disassembled the bolt to my M1 a Super 90 for the ver first time today.  I followed all instructions, but just wanted to make sure I did it correctly.

Upon reassembly, I noticed the INERTIA SPRING moves around freely inside the bolt carrier.  I can hear it moving around when I shake the carrier.  Is this correct?  Thanks for any input.

Thanks!  Now that SOCIAL DISTANCING has been relaxed a bit and the outdoor ranges are opening up, I just wanted to be sure.
