labrador
Recently purchased my new SBEII. Its the 1st shotgun I've owned with a camo finish (MAX4). I love it so far, but since my gun WILL GET WET, I'm wondering about the camo coating. Should I expect this stuff to scratch off easily? Do I need to "baby" it? And, can I oil it up good at the end of the day without fear of the oil degrading the camo ? It's beautiful now and I want it to stay that way. labrador
Thanks Chiro. I'll let you know, hopefully you won't here any thing about "chipping or scratching"!!! [ 08-02-2004, 11:07 AM: Message edited by: labrador ]
FIB
I have a M1 w/the older Hardwoods camo. and found it to be very durable. The only "scratches" in the finish were caused when I hit the barrel against metal things like a barbed wire fence. I never had problems with "chipping"
