Cole peck Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 My 828U over and under shotgun has a stuck trigger mechanism half in and half out of the gun does anyone know how to get it out of the gun without having to send it back to Benelli Quote
remarkable Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Please send me a PM, I will try to walk you through it. Basically you will need to remove the stock from the gun then reaching into the reciever with a fine tool and depress the trigger guard latch. If you have another 828U you could look at that would be og help, otherwise I can get you a few photos Monday. 1 Quote

PBFitz Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Same issue. I have the stock removed. Just need an explanation of how to proceed. Please forward instructions ASAP Quote
PBFitz Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Hello All - REMARKABLE totally helped me with this. My trigger system was totally jammed - due to my stupidity- I did everything wrong.. and paid the price .. I needed to remove the steel locking plate (held in by the plastic locking block on the floor of the receiver) & once out, I could manually press in the firing pin hammers manually. Once that was done, I could muscle the trigger group back into position and lock it back into normal position.. it does take some pressure, but nothing violent. Very happy for the support and guidance. 1 Quote

ToniMeloni Posted May 13 Posted May 13 (edited) Hi StreetSweeper56 , Thank you very much for your reply. Since I am based in Europe, I am unfortunately unable to use your telephone support service. I have already browsed your YouTube channel but, unfortunately, could not find a video relevant to my specific issue. I was hoping to receive some assistance, as it appears that the user "remarkable" previously provided instructions—upon request—regarding the problem with the stuck trigger resulting from improper disassembly. Do you perhaps have any advice on where I might be able to find such instructions? Thank you very much. Edited May 13 by ToniMeloni Quote

I'm sorry, I do not own that model, hopefully remarkable will be along as he, and others are very knowledgeable. 1 Quote
