buckslayer5676 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Hi all, I have a chance to purchase an M1 with a 21" barrel that has the wood stock. According to the owner, it's approximately 30 years old and was obviously made for turkey hunting. I've tried searching and searching to find out more information on this model, but can't seem to find much of anything. Closest I found was an M1 with a 21" barrel in camo finish. My question is, was the M1 offered in this configuration (thinking maybe owner switched camo stock/forearm to wood but he says it came that way)? If so, I'm assuming they only offered it for a very limited time? I'm also trying to find older Benelli catalogs that I could download, but haven't found much on that either. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! Quote
StreetSweeper56 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Personally, I'd snatch it up unless he wants an outrageous price for it. 1 Quote
truckcop Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Yes, they were offered in wood-furniture hunting guns although the 21" versions were probably less common than the longer ones. 1 Quote
