atypicalballistician
I have had my Nova for about 6 months now and I have already sent it in to have it repaired but this issue keeps popping up. When I cycle the shotgun the next shell does not come out of the tube and onto the lifter. Benelli says everything is to spec but I get failures to feed 1 in every 3 cycles, usually on the last shell in the tube. Has anyone else had this issue and have any fixes for it? I want to make sure this is up and running for the upcoming waterfowl season.
Ben elLes
Perhaps you got a weak spring? Cheap possibility is to replace the spring pushing the shells out.
atypicalballistician
Honestly I think there is too much pressure on the follower if anything. The link will get out of the way when there is nothing in the tube but as soon as it has any pressure from a shell it gets hung up before it move far enough to allow the shell to feed onto the lifter. kwb377
Is it possible you're inadvertently hitting the shell cut-off button while cycling the forearm?
atypicalballistician
No I am sure I am not hitting the cut off. Just to make sure I was holding the slide in front of that just to be sure. I also watched the feed stop once the bolt was out of the way and you can see at full cycle it is not getting far enough out of the way to allow the shell to pop out. Ben elLes
Tried polishing the inside of the feeding tube? Perhaps that will help it not get hung up.
atypicalballistician
I think polishing the feed stop would be better. Lubing the tube does nothing if the link wont get out of the way.
