trader_bob01 Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 I have been trying for several days to register my new Benelli shotgun, but I keep getting this message that says "Oops! It looks like your post contains spam content. If you believe otherwise, please contact us. We apologize for the inconvenience." It just so happens that when I try to leave a message with customer support, I get the same message. How else can I register my shotgun? Quote
Ho-bert Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 Are you registering at https://www.benelliusa.com/support/register-your-gun? It is an online form. No posting required. Quote
Bigbovine Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 I am having the same issue. I get the same response trying to register and contact support. What is causing this? Quote
PaulM Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Same issue here with two different Benelli shotguns I purchased. Same issue on different computers at different locations. 1 Quote
remarkable Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 No need to register a new gun from Benelli, the date code is stamped on the receiver. This changed in some models many years ago such as the SBE 3 has been date stamped since 2017, similar to all Ethos linage. Quote

trader_bob01 Posted September 25, 2022 Author Posted September 25, 2022 I received an e-mail stating that my registration had been received and would be processed. The e-mail was sent the 23rd of September, and date submitted was 23 September 2022. The last time I tried to register was September 15th. However, the address is incorrect by one digit. I am not sure what happened, is there some way to verify that registration actually occurred? Quote

gocards Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Why register? Who's to say some federal agency won't access the record? Shouldn't owners just need the receipt for warranty work? What else? Quote
