I just set up my A&S frame and noticed the hamer doesn't stay upright on its own while uncocked. It jingles back and forth and appears to be due to the frame being a bit wider than the original trigger frame.

Any other uses notice this?

Thanks

If you're talking about a slight side to side play of the hammer in the uncocked position, that is normal. Also normal when the trigger group is removed for the hammer to rock forward towards the shell lifter when uncocked. You probably just didn't notice this before you did the swap

Interesting.

In the OEM frame it was fairly snug and stood up straight. I even re watched a video to confirm others OEM had the hammer not move forward/backwards making a rattle sound.

At the end of the day it's not a big deal however I did want to ensure I didn't screw anything up.

Gotcha

So when the group is in the gun and uncocked, it's normal for the hamer to move forward and backwards freely making a rattle.

I guess I'm just crazy not remembering hearing a rattle of the hammer at all.

Thanks

Yes, the hammer still has a quarter inch or so of free play as it sits behind the bolt. I keep my hammer greased so it does not move as quickly to make a noise when tilting or shaking the gun. However what you could be hearing also are the pistons tapping the bolt carrier as you are moving the gun fore and aft. just a thought.
