Futuredays17 Posted November 26, 2023 Share Posted November 26, 2023 I’m new to shotguns and the M4. I was attempting to field strip my new M4 and watched a few videos. I didn’t notice my model was different and has what I believe is called a “spring clip”? I bent it, but luckily it went back to the original shape when I Retightened the plug. 12508 Posted December 1, 2023 Share Posted December 1, 2023 (edited) Can you take a few more photos or a video? I am trying to see how the spring seats into the retainer on the tube. Can you compress the spring with one hand and free the piston with another? I assume that spring adds tension to the gen2 handguard? Does the owner's manual say anything?
