Massive
Hello to everybody, I recently purchased a SuperNova and the first thing that seemed awkward to me was that to load shells in the magazine the hammer has to be cocked 🙄. If not, I have to press the lever (don't know it's name, would appreciate if someone mention it) by hand a little bit down in order to load shells in the tube. Why is it so ? A cocked hammer, without a shell in the chamber, in order to feed the tube.Makes this any sense ? In my old Maverick I could feed the tube regardless of the hammer position. Is there any particular reason for this ? (This specific process is stated in the User's Manual also)
remarkable
You can load the firearm without cocking the hammer by depressing the drop shell lever. The results of using the drop shell lever is virtually the same as your Mossberg.  Different design same results.

But when you want to speed load, as in an IPSC competition you can't do this because you need 2 hands, one to hold down the lever and own to feed shells. Many thanks for your reply
