MO_triple_beard Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 I just purchased up my first Benelli Friday and I am pumped. What a great gun. I'm sure this question has been raised before, what is the best turkey choke tube for a SBE II - Advantage Timber HD 26"? I want to make sure it is compatible with the Crio barrel. Secondly, I'm sure it is normal for 2 3/4 light loads to jam the first few rounds. Can someone confirm this is normal during break-in? I would like to put my mind at ease. Spend a few bucks and you want it to be perfect. Thanks and look forward to participating on this board. [ 10-23-2006, 06:41 PM: Message edited by: MO_triple_beard ] Quote
mudhen Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Primos Jellyhead .660. Rhino 1.5" .660 is close behind. Yes, I can confirm it is normal. Some SBE's never shoot light loads. All mine have, but all have been broken in with 3.5" turkey loads. mudhen - CA Quote

Thought I read something in the manual saying only to use Crio tubes. I did not see this in the Primos description. Quote
tucker301 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 The tube does not have to be crio treated. Many references call the new Benelli chokes the crio chokes to differentiate them from the older style. It has to be the crio style, but not the crio type. Quote
