Old Vs New Benelli M2 Shell Lifter

Does the new Benelli M2 (the 2023 overhaul) use the same shell lifter as the older version? I've been pinched by loading gates enough times to know I'd like to swap that out when I get an M2 down the road. 

 

Also, how does the newer version dual load and quad load? Does the scalloping out of the receiver help? Curious about experiences of users.

The incut reciever is a great adition to the M2 as well as the new style Montefeltro.  Loading becomes much easier with that feature as well as the new two piece carrier latch which makes sliding shells acreoss the carrier latch with much less resistance.

That's great! Any idea on the lifter? Is it the same as the old benelli m2 lifter?
