SBE 3 bolt getting caught on lifter/failure to feed

My sbe 3 is firing the first shot fine, but time to time the bolt will lock back with the shell just resting on the lifter. if I smack the bolt forward and it will feed but that's not ideal obviously. Occasionally when racking the gun the bolt will sometimes stick to the rear without pressing the shell release to lock it back, it will just stick back but you can just tap it forward. Any ideas what could be causing this issue?

You have a out of spec Carrier Latch/Drop Shell lever issue.  The drop shell lever is not functioning normally when it releasing the carrier latch. Additionally your trigger pack appearsd to be overmolded at the Carrier contact point.  This causes the carrier not to function freely.

I see your buiild date is 22, This should go back to Benelli for a warranty claim unless you have a Benelli expert to assist.

Hi, did you ever fix this problem? I was having the exact same issue out of the box but after some tinkering I think i fixed it but haven’t been able to verify with live rounds yet.

same problem, it is difficult to fix
