JillV Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Apologies for what is hopefully my last dumb question on here for a while. I have a Mesa Tactical 8-shell aluminum side saddle I am about to screw onto the top of my M4 to replace the existing rail. I have the proper screws & washers (had to replace a few, because they fell out during a recent shotgun course). My question is this. Which way do the washers go? Like a regular bowl, "u" style, so the screw drops into it snug? Or like an upside down bowl, "n" style, with the curve facing the M4? Again apologies for not knowing, I just don't wanna 'screw' this up (see what I did there?), especially since I am using Loctite 243 to make sure it stays snug once in place. Thanks for any help Quote
Sukhoi_fan Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 Bevel/concave side goes up, note how it matches angle of underside of fastener. 1 Quote
