Mess Tactical Urbino Stock question

Greetings all, does anyone know if the Mesa Tactical Urbino stock offers the same recoil tube benefits as the OEM stock? Based on my installation this morning, it seems only the OEM stock provides these benefits since the back of the stock is screwed into the tube.
