I went with the aluminum housing from A&S. Swapping parts is super simple. When assembling I originally installed the stock pin that retains I believe the trigger but ultimately took it back apart and installed the roll pin. Nothing was difficult. Simple hand tools and a bench. And the scallop they put in is nice as well.

Hey guys. I’ve seen some M4’s around here with a vertical foregrip and I’m curious as to why? I have an M Lok rail and wouldn’t mind trying one if there were reasons I hadn’t thought of. Thanks!

I wish this was out before I bought my scalarworks RMR setup and Midwest industries hand guard. That would have been an awesome setup for me.

What specifically do you need designed?

Having the 11732 would have saved me a bunch of work on mine. Was this just released?

Try shocking it with a few taps of a hammer on a punch. It's probably wedged sideways in the torx head slightly. Or you could just look at it like a locking lugnut for your shotgun!

It’s all good. My main question was more so, I tried to fit 7 but only got 6. Is this the consensus across the board? My state isn’t an easy state gun wise so I’m stuck with a 5 round tube unfortunately.

I’m lost. Maybe this thread got confused with another in replies? Or are assumptions being made? I never asked nor implied I was carrying or storing loaded/chambered? I was simply asking a question about ghost loading.

Is there a more proper way to do so? It’s been mentioned tons of times that the m4 was designed to be able to ghost load.

Hey guys. I have a stock m4 (5rd tube) and was wondering how many 3” shells you guys can fit? I was able to fit 6 in the gun including a ghost load.

I bought the first tactical 42” rifle sleeve. It integrates with a backpack for ease of carry. Awesome case, worth the price.

I was able to find a NOS Mesa tactical ambi QD mount that goes between the receiver and the stock. I have the rear QD on the right and the front M LOK QD mount i bought on the left of the rail. Works awesome and it's not floppy anymore.

I run my sling over my right shoulder and under my left arm pit with the muzzle facing to the left of my left foot across my chest. The reason for my question is i'd like to get the gun tighter to my body but i don't think i could run it on the right side of the stock due to the side saddle. I looked into a flush mount QD mount but i don't want to drill holes in my stock and find out the location won't work for my intended purposes.

I mean towards my left foot. Not literally left lol.

I prefer to run muzzle down (pointed left). My concern was running both QD on the left and having the gun flip away from me.

I currently have a QD on the front at the bottom of my M LOK rail. In the rear I have a sling swivel QD which came with my mesa tactical Urbino. I'd like to QD on the rear as well, but unsure if running it on the left side would function well. The front right of my rail has a light/pressure pad. The right rear of the stock has a side saddle. I see most run a left front and right rear for a 2 point sling. Would left and left work or am i better off under and under? Left front and under rear didn't work for me.

That’s a bummer. My RX one is awesome. Maybe my FFT would work in your BCG lol it didn’t in mine.

Did you get the titanium one? Trying to turn it clockwise (when facing it) is near impossible for me. Spinning counter clockwise takes a good bit of effort.

night and day difference between the RX arms and FFT. Not even a comparison. The FFT in 2 out of 3 of the detent positions I could turn a crazy amount and it was very easy to twist out of place. The RX arms design is much different, positive retention and hard to turn to twist out. No way will this part come out even if I’m racking the bolt under pressure.

Yes. I run my sling over my right shoulder (against my neck) and then under my left arm pit so the butt of the stock is against my right shoulder and muzzle towards my left foot. My concern was that it states it’s “angled” and if I bought a right and wanted a left or visa versa… I was going to go with a flush mount in the stock but didn’t want to drill a hole.

Hey guys. I have a QD up front (bottom) and currently looking for a QD for the rear. I currently have an uncle mikes swivel sling adapter on the bottom of the urbino. I have a flashlight and pressure pad on the right side of the shotgun rail and the FFT website says right handed shooters (me) run a left handed plate. Is this correct? It would come off the stock on the same side as my face? I know it won’t hit my face, just giving context to what I consider the left side. Also, don’t most people run front of sling opposite back of sling? Am I better off just doing the QD up front on the bottom and the swivel sling on the bottom On the back and calling it a day?

I ordered an RX. Hoping it’s the ticket. I also bought the titanium one which I’m hoping with less diameter is less rotation. And it’s titanium!

I can’t physically pull it out without rotating it and the original part was somewhat difficult to remove so I think the detent itself is ok. RX arms, what causes yours to be different design wise? Each I see physically look the same. Also, do you screw the aluminum knob to the steel shaft or is it held in place another way?
