I saw a video from RX Arms where the charging handle looks like it locks into place with authority. I have the 3/4” FFT and when I charge the gun (or eject shells rapidly) it will sometimes rotate out. Is it just nature of the beast or are there better designs than the FFT?

Hey guys. I hike into the woods I hunt to shoot my 12ga and a bunch of different 9mm and .45. I’d like to switch it up from cardboard/paper and get plates to shoot at. But walking in it would need to be something portable or able to be hung on a branch/tree. Any ideas?

I don’t have a vast amount of shotguns I’ve got so I’m curious if the trigger can be improved on or if that’s just how it is.

My question was more so do aftermarket triggers clean up the trigger and make it break easier or are they more for 922R and longevity of the part?

Hey guys. I'm wanting to possibly move into a "better" trigger for my M4. Everything is stock trigger group wise besides the trigger housing. I come from a pistol shooting background as well as air rifles so i'm used to lighter, faster triggers. The M4 trigger, while not "rough" is like trying to snap a pencil to me. Do the aftermarket triggers break a bit easier? Is it just the nature of a shotgun? What do you gain with an aftermarket trigger? My state isn't easy to modify the M4 due to "pistol grip" so I wouldn't be doing it for 922R compliance. Also, i read some trigger kits may require fitting with the polymer housing, which is why i state i have the aluminum A&S housing. Thank!

Hey guys, i see offered on many websites trigger kits for the M4. I come from shooting pistol and have really got a good feeling for many different pistol triggers/systems. As well as air rifles. To me, the shotgun trigger feels as if i'm trying to snap a pencil between my fingers. Do these various trigger kits create a lighter trigger weight and or a slicker surface for the hammer to slip on? Are they worth the upgrade or do people do it to comply with 922R?

Hey guys. I just got my M4 and shot it for the first time today. Awesome gun! my question is, where to oil? I oiled the rails that the bolt rides in and that was really all I could figure. Anywhere else? I usually run my pistols fairly dry.

Not to dig up an old thread, but the washers that came with my urbino I just bought look like the nord washers pictured above. The cams are shallow. Unsure if they’re quality washers? Are these the same washers that came with the stock mentioned in the OP? Wondering if I should get ahead of the potential issue and order them or if what came whey the urbino is what the solution was in this thread?

Hey guys. What kind of finishes does benelli use and how impervious are they to weather? If I wanted to shoot in rain or snow let’s say… this being my second shotgun but first quality shotgun I’d like to know from people who have owned it a while. Does the black finish wear similar to bluing with finger acids and such? What requires oil after an outing?

So, I bought a “cylinder” choke as I read it’s for slugs and I bought a “full” for 00 buck. Is this correct? I also have the factory modified as well as the Carlson improved cylinder breecher choke.

Hey guys. I'm curious which choke i should use for 00 buck? I have a carlsons improved cylinder choke and of course the stock m4. Can you shoot slugs through either of these chokes? I plan to shoot 00 buck, slug and some target loads within 30 yards. Thanks

Thank you. After reading that, I think I’m going to try a magpul ms1 padded sling and get a standard GI swivel for 1 1/4” strap and attach that to the bottom of my m Lok rail. On the back of my urbino I’ll use the type of adapter that was supplied with the stock (the bottom hole) and see how that goes. I really only want the sling for walking into the woods and when transitioning to pistol. I’m not too particular. My bow has a sling that I get by with and it’s nothing fancy.

I think I may go with the Magpul MS1 with QD. I have a Mesa Urbino stock on the gun and a Midwest Industries M Lok handguard. I think I’ll do a Noveske M Lok QD up front and a Noveske flush mount in the rear (drill and install). My question is… I'm a right handed shooter… what size do I install the sling and QD points on? Also, I’ll have a two point sling so… where on the stock should I put the rear attachment point? In the center? Top? Bottom? are there any better slings with QD for the price ($75)?

Hey guys. Is there a quality, unintrusive option for adding a quick disconnect sling attachment to the urbino stock or even the gun itself? I'm adding a midwest industries handguard which i'll end up purchasing a QD M-Lok attachment for that. But it wouldn't make sense to get a QD on the front if I can't have a QD on the rear...

Hey guys. I just ordered an M4 and plan to install the Mesa Tactical Urbino stock with the limbsaver butt pad and the riser. I may also eventually put a breacher choke on it. With that said, what size case should I be looking for?

Does the magazine tube have the ability to cause malfunctions (meaning… do companies actually get this part wrong dimetionslly?) I saw FFT makes one as well. My goal is to keep it as close to factory as far as function and reliability as possible. If it were my choice I’d run a benelli 7 round tube and the benelli collapsible stock and call it a day.

Hey guys. I'm looking at getting an M4 and have a few questions. I've read about the 922R compliance and it seems that in order for me to have a collapsible or foldable stock, i'd need to change four parts to be in compliance. Here's what I'd like to do to the gun after receipt and was wondering what four parts I should/you would change and with what? I'd like to keep factory benelli as much as possible. -7 round benelli factory magazine tube -I'd like the collapsible stock like on the M1014 (does anybody have a part number or a similar product I can buy) -Flashlight mount, i was looking at IWC. That's about it. Not looking to modify much.
