I have that same light, but IR/white light on a different gun and used the MLOk mount. Works great. On a Benelli M4, I have the smaller Surefire using the RM45 mount - clamps onto the rail section of the new Benelli forearm. Use a tape switch on a Magpul RVG grip. I have a 11723 that I Form 1d. The 11723 has a front sling attachment that has a built-in QD attachment. And, uh, it rattles. Yeah, I know, it’s not like I’m sneaking up on anybody (today anyway), but it bugged me. I removed the sling attachment and mounted a QD on the funky new forearm. It don’t rattle anymore. lol.

I like mine a lot. I didn’t really get into vertical grips until the last couple of years when I first put one on a short barrel rifle, then a couple of other rifles. It’s a natural grip, eases carry/presentation/shooting. Feels super natural and I gotta say, I like…!

Well, took her out yesterday and that busted off end of the screwdriver popped out within the first mag full of 00.

Not sure how long it has been out, bought mine in Sep. and then immediately SBSd it. It would have been cheaper to buy an existing entry gun, but the F1 is faster than a F4. And, if I feel like it, I can put the longer barrel and +2 extension on the mag.

Magpul MS3 sling Scalarworks Sync/01 + RMR06 Surefire M312C MagPul RVG The host was a 11732 - I actually like the new stock and the new forearm. The forearm comes with three small rail pieces to which I’ve mounted a QD for the sling on the left side of the receiver, the RVG on the bottom, and the Surefire on the right. The MS3 is a *great* sling - makes it very easy to set up a braced position with the sling that provides tension when shooting. Nixed the crapped little front sling swivel as it just rattled a bit too much for me. The light is pretty nice - it’s a single cell Scout light with 500 lumens. I’m a flashlight geek, including having a dual IR/vis 1000 lumens light on a DMR setup and really like it, yet 500 lumens is just great for this shotgun. And while I don’t typically like Velcro on my gear, I’m using some awesome strong Velcro and cut it to side and put the pressure pad on the right side of the grip. This position allows me to grip the RVG and shoot comfortably without turning on the light. Tightening my fingers illuminates the light. There’s a little bit of a shadow with the entry barrel but not so much that it negates the purpose of the light. All in all, very pleased.

yeah, i could get it out with a tiny bit of effort. I'm just gonna let it sit and see when it pops out courtesy of 00. It wasn't the screw that sheered off, it was that crappy little torex bit they include in the box. I'm not too worried about the screw coming up for a few reasons - first, it was pre-treated with a little dab of red loctite and second, apparently a gorilla torqued the hell out of it when installing it... lol.

Ordered mine on Tuesday evening when I saw this post - the furniture arrived today. Probably the fastest shipping from PSA that I've ever experienced...! Don't necessarily think I'll put this furniture on either of my guns, but it's an option for the future. I'll likely just stick them in the gun room and when some guy asks for these in eleven years I'll sell him my $900 set of wooden furniture... lol. Would be nice if there was some type of heat shield on the forearm as the wood is pretty thin and I can imagine it getting pretty hot with moderate usage. ll

Although, upon reflection, and I’m just guessing, I suppose it’s possible they intentionally designed the bit to break away if the torque was exceeded - all to prevent from screwing up the aluminum receiver. That would be cool. But I’m betting it was just a crappy bit. lol.

The other day. Got today. I’ve had for literally 30 minutes. Had to rush right out to my little shop area and put it together. Easy peasy install - remove the top rail on the receiver of the Benelli M4. You install two screws with a little protrusion on them and then hook the mount on the protruding screws and slide it back to lock it in place. It’s a clever install - kind of a Tab A Slot B kind of thing. Then you use two screws to mate the Sync mount to the receiver. Scalarworks includes all the screws you need and even offer a crappy little torex bit driver. I took one look at the crappy little driver and my tools - which were right freakin’ there - and I still used their crappy little driver in a screwdriver. Stupid stupid stupid. The manual, which I actually read said to torque the screws to 7 in/lb - so not much. And, yeah, I got all sorts of torque wrenches. I figured 7 in/lb meant snug tight. I guess my idea of snug and the crappy little bits idea of snug is not the same thing. Busted the freakin’ bit right off in the screw. Figure I’ll probably pop out once I start unloading a bunch of 00 through it, but we’ll see. I effectively borrowed somebody’s tool tonight and it was a piece of crap. I’ll provide a report on this over the weekend.

Thx, just grabbed a set from PSA. This is gonna be one of those you say in about ten years, many I wish I had bought those when they were available… you can’t go wrong for $70.
