M1014 (11701CA) stock pin location?

I (stupidly) bought a 11701CA (california legal M1014) instead of a regular 11701...

as it turns out, an unpinned stock is completely legal in CA, and now I want to install an RX 6-position recoil tube, and i want to unpin the stock.

Currently the gun hasn't arrived yet so I can't inspect it... but how do I remove the factory pin? So far from reading it seems I need:

- stock button
- retaining pin
- button spring

Is this it? will the stock be 100% like new condition or will there be drill holes in it? If so I want to replace those parts as well

@Franklinexpressits not legal.............. i was told INCORRECTLY by THREE separate gun stores in my area. the fourth gun store was like "lol. that is absolutely not legal"

what im going to do is buy a 3 stop extension but then just re-pin the stock, so at least its a "real" stock, and if i move out of CA i can remove the pin
