Reelfoot_Fowler Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 I’ve got a issue on a super black eagle 2. When I stripped the shotgun down to clean it i’ve noticed the barrel has a loose wobble where the barrel screws in to the top half of the receiver. Not sure how to resolve this. If i tighten the barrel it turns to far and does not line up when i reassemble. Any assistance would be appreciated. Quote
Steve Rose Posted February 28, 2025 Posted February 28, 2025 (edited) Unscrew and separate the barrel and and receiver. Clean and degrease the inside and outside threaded area. Make sure you can screw the parts back together. Separate the parts again and apply a liberal coating of red Loctite on the threads then screw the 2 pieces back together till the parts lien up properly then let the Loctite dry until tomorrow. I've seen 2-3 Benelli guns and a few Brownings over the years that have come loose as your has done. Edited February 28, 2025 by Steve Rose 1 Quote

Benellis338 Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I have a similar situation with my M2. It looks like there might be a plastic ring(seal) that is at where the 2 parts connect and mine seems to be chipped? the barrel has similar wobble. I haven't tried to completely unscrew it from the barrel yet. Did the red Loctite work? Quote
