Mr.bonkers Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 having this issue sometimes when I send the bolt forward, will also occasionally happen on extraction. Is this a cleaning issue? I clean everytime I go to the range but have never taken it apart and done a deep clean. HunterColbert Posted April 25, 2025 Posted April 25, 2025 I had this problem pretty often with my sbe3 a couple years ago. A wise friend told me taking the hardware apart fully and soaking in gasoline would possibly help this issue, then to wipe down, and re oil after all gasoline is off. Worked well for me, but to each their own. Hope this may help. Quote

There are other solvents available that are not nearly as hazardous to one's health (fire, inhalation), e.g. something made specifically for gun cleaning purposes such as Gun Scrubber. 1 1 1 Quote

Sukhoi_fan Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 For those on a budget looking for an economical homebrew gun cleaning solvent do a search for the recipe for Ed's Red. https://www.bing.com/search?q=ed's+red+gun+cleaner&qs=MT&pq=ed's+red&sc=12-8&cvid=D07402AC90594ED59E78B4FCA9B9BF86&FORM=QBRE&sp=1&ghc=1&lq=0 Quote
