I received a 1014 Benelli new in the box as a gift in the 90’s.  The serial number is M1014-1634.  When I check the serial number is says it is a civilian model however it has a five position collapsible stock and has a 7 +1 round capacity.  Any ideas what it is?

If it has a fixed choke and an American flag below the ejection port then that would be a limited production M1014 not a M4. It came that way. I'm unaware of any five position stock, only the three position stock.
