red dot scope for M2

i just bought a M2 and wanted to know if a red dot scope could be put on the gun. If so how do i need to go about it.

Take it to a gunsmith and have it drilled and tapped.

One thing I'll add is to have it tapped to the 93 weaver mount pattern.. buy it there or bring it with you.

 

Its best to keep things uniform.

 

buy a good quality water proof unit as well.

Excellent point.

Doing it in the 93 pattern will insure that it matches the factory tapped guns and can only increase its trade-in or resale value.
