Tac Light setup on M4 LE

I was trying to figure out a reasonable Tac light for my M4 and this is what I came up with.

 

Streamlight M3x light

 

ITI Uinversal Shotgun Mount

 

Less than $150 for setup and I can use the light on my Glocks, Springfield Operator and HK's.

Looks good, but where is your mag extension??

What kind of lumen output do you get with that M3x?

 

How is the disassembly? It looks like you can't remove the barrel while the light is installed.

 

Make sure you have the clam mount very tight. 12 gauge tends to make them loosen up, and when they do, they tend to jack up your finish in a hurry.

 

Good job for the price though. My plans will end up costing me significantly more money...

The output is 120 lumen per the specs on the box.

 

The disassembly is a small problem as now, yes can't remove barrel while mount is installed.

Do they have a picatinny mount for it?

You could get the Sidearmor rail system.

I have one, it is a quality system. I didn't get the extended top rail though.

Since you'd need to loctite the mount to keep it from moving, it would be counterproductive on something you have to disassemble after every session of shooting.

Nice setup and option, I may have to get one. But I need to wait and let things cool down. If the little lady sees the UPS guy one more time, this may be my last post.
