wdwrkr Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Got a new SBEII LH and am having a large number of jams...so far this year I have fired about 465 shells and had almost 70 jams. The typical jam has the shell all the way out of the magazine and laying in the shell carrier and the bolt all the way back and open. Slapping the receiver, or touching the shell carrier below the receiver will cause the bolt to close and load the shell. Help! I have tried cleaning it to within an inch of its life, running it dry, and very well lubed with the Benelli oil and Rem Oil. I am at wits end...any help out there? Quote
Drundel Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Kinda sounds like the shell carrier is rubbing. Might take it back to the store where it was bought and have them check it out or have a gunsmith look at it. Quote
Team Benelli Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 The only thing i can think of is to make sure that the springs and suck are fully broken in because when firing the springs are somtimes to strong and will come closed before the shell can make its exit Quote
